Naima Moalin is a dynamic entrepreneur and strategist with a background in public administration and communications. Before founding Veynuus in 2024 with friends, her entrepreneurial journey began in 2020 with the establishment of Hodmas University College, inspired by her experience working within Malaysia’s higher education sector.

Naima holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Somalia (UNISO) and an MBA in Communications and Public Relations from Limkokwing University, Malaysia.

Her professional career spans both public institutions and international organizations. In 2018, she served with the Office of the Prime Minister, followed by her role as Program Adviser at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (2023–2024). She later joined FAO Somalia as a Program Assistant under the $160M JOSP program, contributing to one of the largest development initiatives in the Somalia.

Since re-joining Veynuus in Jan 2025, Naima has led the firm’s growth across Somalia, Kenya, Sudan and Nigeria managing projects worth over $100,000 in under a year. She has delivered assignments for prominent partners, including the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, IOM Somalia, IOM Sudan, UNMAS Sudan, UNOPS Sudan, Hormuud TelecomSomali Bankers Association and Banaadir Regional Administration.
