Ali Farah Abdullahi is a seasoned environmental and climate resilience leader with over a decade of impactful work across Somalia’s development, humanitarian, and sustainability landscape. As the Interim Director of Sustainability & Resilience at Veynuus, Ali provides strategic oversight, thought leadership, and technical expertise across climate adaptation, environmental governance, and sustainable development programming.

He brings a robust background as Executive Director of ECO-HUB Somalia and Climate Security Advisor to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, where he led nationally recognized initiatives addressing climate risks, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods. With proven ability to guide policy, mobilize partnerships, and lead environmental innovation, Ali is a recognized voice in global platforms including COP28, and a mentor to youth-led green enterprises.

His advisory role at Veynuus ensures that environmental safeguards, resilience planning, and climate governance are fully integrated across our service areas and client engagements.
