Abdirizak Moalim Ahmed is a seasoned finance and accounting leader with over a decade of experience spanning corporate finance, international development, and data-driven financial management. He brings a rare combination of technical precision, analytical depth, and leadership across complex, multi-sectoral operations.

He holds an MSc in Finance and Investments from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance & Banking) with First Class Honours from Kampala International University, and is a fully certified ACCA Member. He recently completed a Postgraduate Program in Data Science and Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining Veynuus, Abdirizak served as Project Manager at Fastway Kenya Ltd, overseeing large-scale construction projects, cost forecasting, and budgeting. His past roles also include Accounting Manager at Al-Amin Group (covering five subsidiaries), and Senior Finance Officer with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where he managed grant compliance, audits, and donor reporting.

With proven success in financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and systems improvement, Abdirizak has led and trained finance teams in both the private and nonprofit sectors. At Veynuus, he is responsible for financial governance, advisory, and strategic resource management across the firm’s operations in Somalia, Kenya, and Nigeria.
